Cooper CS5 Grand Touring

I'm happy with these tires so far with about 1,000 miles on them since they have been installed.

Have only had the tires a few weeks, but they made a big difference immediately. I feel safer, especially in the rain. The appear to be sturdy and the ride is great!

I purchased these wet weather Cooper tires because they had the siped lateral tread grooves to allow side bleeding of road water to the sides of the tread foot print to prevent hydroplaning in wet weather. Uniroyal discontinued the excellent Tiger Paw wet weather tires you installed 2 1/2 yearsb ago. Most all the manufactures are now only making DRY WEATHER all season tires that do not have the lateral siped tread grooves to provide for Safe wet weather driving w/o hydroplaning. Hydroplaning starts to occur with DRY Weather all season tires at about 50% tread wear. PLEASE TRY TO PERSUADE the tire manfacturers to produce WET WEATHER all season tires!

Excellent tire on a excellent car

Cooper CS-5 tires are the quietest tires I have ever purchased. Great grip upon acceleration from a stop. Excellent grip on turns and totally quiet when driving in city or out on highway.

I have only had these tires for just over a month and everything is smooth and easily gliding. Great on the highway!

Good in the rain..had some light snow traction was good as or better then factory tires.wet traction is good.cornering is better then factory tires.ride is superb.I drive 540 miles a week to and from work...this is my second set..lasted the mileage of 80,000

I love the Cooper SC Touring series (4 and 5). This is the third set of these tires I have purchased. Long tread life and the most comfortable ride. Ran two sets on a Chevy Equinox and now a set on the CR-V.

These were replacements for the same type. Got the most wear out of them than ANY tire I've EVER owned. I drive 1.5 hrs daily commute in all kinds of weather and mix of road types/conditions, and except for winter conditions, they were excellent!! I did end up buying snow tires with an aggressive tread, due to slippage on snow (ice seemed ok), but this could be due to vehicle being a minivan without much weight and only one or two passengers. However, wear length was exceptional, and had no problems other than punctures that weren't tires' fault (and they were usually repairable).

Hartley and Mark were very helpful when it came time to pick the right tire for my car and me. i have a convertible and wanted a comfortable and quit ride. the cooper CS5 ultra was the right fit for me.

Tires seem to work good in all conditions so far.

I bought these tires because they have a Good Snow Traction rating. Ice and Snow are the only things I have not travelled in yet. Otherwise a good tire.

2nd pair of these Cooper tires on my 09 Outback. another pair will go on when my outback hits 170,000 miles

Since I have put on only one thousand miles in mostly dry highway, I cannot reply to several categories.

These tires are great in sleat/snow conditions,and are great on the open highway.Outstanding grip going uphill in snow conditions.

Smooth driving

Only had them a short time. So far they seem to live up to their ratings. Driving in the rain felt real secure. so far very satisfied.

They put 2 tires on my car and a Front left axle. Also change the oil. They did an excellent job. I will go back again And tell all my friends and family.

I replaced original tires, that came with the car which were 8 years old. What a tremendous difference. Such a smooth and quiet ride. I haven’t had the opportunity to test them in inclement weather, but I’m sure they will do a magnificent job.

I like the tires over all would probably most likely buy again.

Cooper tires were recommended by the store manager (Kevin Thompson) after wearing out Michelin tires (rated for 90K only got 55K on both sets) 2 previous times, averaging 55K per set. (Michelin tires came nowhere near warranted mileage use 90K). I would NEVER purchase Michelin again! As for the Cooper Tires they look, and feel superior to previous manufacture. I have 160K on my 2011 Corolla, and have taken my service needs to Mavis. Your service team on Jefferson Road Rochester have been superior. Always a smile, service in a timely manner. I travel cross town just to have service needs filled at Jefferson, and will continue to do so.

With only 2000 miles and a 4 day 6 hrs per day drive this tire has done a great job.

Ratings include both front and rear tires (purchased at different times). I bought the front ones 2 weeks prior to a big snowstorm. They worked flawlessly and got me home. I rated 7 for ice traction solely for the reason that traction on ice is more or less non-existent with whatever tire you purchase - however, they are better than most. I would definitely recommend these tires.

Bought my first set on the advice of my Volvo dealership. I wasn't disappointed! They went 70,000 miles and probably could have gone a bit further but I like to stay ahead of the game. Best tires ever!

I have had the tires for a while and have had ample opportunities this winter to see how they handle. There is a huge difference in the both stopping and starting. I feel they grip the road surface well especially if wet or snow covered. I also notice that the ride seems much smoother. Yes, I am very pleased with the purchase.

Wish I did more research before purchasing these tires! No traction in snow whatsoever. Rain? Forget it as well. Just go ahead and save yourself the trouble and get Yokohama geo landers instead.

Can't give my opinion regarding Snow or Ice traction as of yet, but I'm sure I will be satisfied with the performance of these tires in Winter driving.

I haven't driven on these tires in the winter yet but so far I am very happy with the way they handle in the rain. Very responsive. I feel secure on the rode. I love the fact that they are so quiet...didn't realize my old tires were so loud. I would HIghly recommend them.

I bought the tires the managers suggested and very happy I did. They perform better then the original equipment tires. Nice clean location and done in a timely matter. He's a real asset to that location.

I have been very satisfied with these tires so far including driving through a central NY winter.

I had Continentals on the car when I purchased it. Hated them So noisy. my Kauffman guy recommended them to me and I am pleased.

car rides beautifully & is responsive in all road conditions. no problems at all with the tires.

I didn’t try them out it snowy conditions yet. But I’m sure they will have adequate traction. I’m in love with that tread depth . Getting tired of putting those cheap Chinese made tires on every year and a half ? Like the manager at Mavis said . “You only get what you pay for”. So he talked me in to these Coopers. I’m glad he steered me in buying the Coopers .

I had researched tires recommended for my vehicle and found them very good compared to what I had when I bought the car pre owned. They feel like a perfect fit in every way, especially in wet weather, when you want confidence behind the wheel.

We had a rough winter and these tires got me through it without a hitch. Great on snow and with heavy rains. I carry my Grand children in the car, so safety is important. I feel safe with these tires. I never spun out or got stuck. Highly recommended.

They seem to be fine. Time will tell. I hope they last a long time.

Got rid of the tires that came with the car which did not perform well at all. Very satisfied with these Coopers. There was lots of snow and ice this winter, and the Coopers performed well.

I have been using this tire for years. Wife has them too on her Volvo HC60. Good tire for the money.
