Michelin Defender

This is the 6th time I have purchased these tires for different vehicles I own. All my vehicles run on Michelin tires.

Tires perform excellent on interstate hwys. At 75/85mph, handle rough roads very good, trip to pot hole city (Toledo,OH) was a true test of the tires durability. A excellent tire for a heavy vehicle that travels at high speeds.

I am really happy with these tires, except for deep snow. (all wheel drive vehicle) both my husband and my self have gotten stuck in our driveway. Other than that they have been great, quiet and handle very well.

Recently purchased but so far seem to be a very good tire. Quiet and smooth. Second set of defenders for this vehicle and I was very happy with them the first which is why I stayed with them.

Have not been through a winter with these tires yet but I'm sure they will be superior. These tires make the car ride like it's new again!

In comparison to the tires on car when new, these defenders are awesome. When driving on the highway you could hear a wind sound coming from the drivers side window. I had the dealer test drive it to see why. Said it was normal sound. Now with the new Defenders the noise is gone completely. The ride is smooth and the handling is super. I would highly recommend the Michelin Defender to every Honda CRV owner. You will think you have a new car.

The tires have been on my car for 6 months now and so far everything has been going great.

have not driven them in snow. and i don't intend too -- i have snow tires for that. but i'm very happy with these tires.

Just put these on. So far excellent quality. Not used in snow yet. But feel confident traction will be fine

I haven't had these tires long. I braked on wet road had very good grip. I haven't experienced them on ice or snow.

I bought these to replace my OEM tires based upon Consumer Reports review. I am quite satisfied with these tires. Our driveway is nearly 300 feet with a steep incline. Over the years, we have had trouble getting up in snow. This March, we had the worst snow storm in years, but had no difficulty with these tires. This spring, we've had LOTS of rain, but the tires held their traction.

Went through a decent amount of snow last season. These tires held there own. Going into the wet season now, so far so good.

Michelin is the best tire any one can get for a car, I have purchased a lot of tires in my life nothing outlast a Michelin.

Mavis Discount Tire is well run and has a very nice manager. Polite and courteous staff.

These are good tires, they hold the road well on turns. Rain and light snow are no problem either

These are the second set of Michelin Defender tires I have put on the car after the Kumho's that came on the car when purchased new. The original Kumho tires only yielded 36,000 miles. My first set of Defender's yielded 48,000 miles. I am 15,000 miles into my second set and I still love the Defenders and feel more secure with them on the car. They are a great tire for a fair price. I would highly recommend them and have them on both of my cars.

Since there hasn't been too much snow this season it would be very difficult to rate the tires on this condition now.

I've been driving on Defenders for as long as they have been made, probably 15 years at least, on all my cars. I always get the rated wear, 80,000 miles, and I would never buy anything else. These are excellent tires.

Very well engineered tires I would definitely recommend Michelin defenders for a all year round tire for those who do not wish to put snow tires on during the winter months

This is my third set of Defenders on a Sienna. We bought it used; but it had an off-brand new set of tires that were terrible for traction. The difference between those and the Michelins are like night and day.

I've only had the tires for two weeks but so far so good.

softer ride feels like your on rails smooth ride

I have only had these tires since mid-December, but they have handled well in the 2 snow storms that we have recently had. When I first got the tires, I could feel that the car seemed to be running smoother other all types of road. I am very happy with this purchase.

Just replaced the Michelin Defender tires on my car... with another set of Michelin Defenders. I had over 90,000 miles on the tires before they needed replacing! After that, I will buy these tires for every car I own, until they no longer make them.

This is a smooth riding tire , have not had snow yet but I'm sure they will perform well .

Haven't had to deal with snow or ice yet. They were highly recommended so I am assuming they will perform well in bad weather.

We haven't had any snow or ice as yet this year so I can not rate that performance. Great tires, smooth ride, my previous tires made more noise. Great tire so far, I would purchase again.

These are the manufacturers upgrade from the Factory Michelin® Energy LX4 tires for the 2008 Honda Odyssey EX-L. The extended tread life and performance of the tires really makes it worth spending a little extra for Michelin's. Overall I am very happy with the handling and road noise from these tires and always feel in complete control of my van. I would definitely recommend these to anyone who is looking for a non run-flat option for the Odyssey.

Quieter than OE tires which were Michelin also. Handling better than OE. Service from Dealer was excellent.

I haven't had the tires on my car long enough for winter driving, But so far I love the tires. They are much quieter then the coopers I had on the car. The traction in the rain is far better also.

I like Michelin tires. These were a great deal, and the only negative is that they are noisy. As long as they are reliable, I don't really care about the noise.

Amazing and so is the mechanic rob who installed them and did an alignment I love Mavis he gave me a great experience

No tire is good on ice unless they have studs

This is the 2nd set of Defenders we've run on this car, they're excellent, you get what you pay for and Mavis gives us an excellent price & service.

They are everything I expected from Michelin and then some. You can always depend on their tires.

Had a mild winter in Northeast last year so not a lot of winter driving on these tires. Treadwear seems good so far

Probably the happiest we've ever been with any tire.... I reviewed these a lot before making the decision and was not dissapointed Particularly pleased with the winter snow and ice handling. ( I only gave a 7 plus as tires are never as good in snow or ice but truly they are very good)
